Jin Cast in Cantonese Version of ‘Happy Feet Two’

International rapper, actor and now voice-actor, Jin, has announced that he’s been cast in the Cantonese version of ‘Happy Feet Two’, due later this year. The film is the sequel to the huge international 2006 blockbuster animated feature, ‘Happy Feet’. No word on exactly what part he landed, but we’re proud to see the multi-faceted star continue to broaden his horizons.

Jin “Disses” Youtube Stars

Jin must have been real bored. His latest video is a humorous “attack” at his fellow internet-era contemporaries. The 4 minute freeverse includes mentions of Joseph Vincent, JR Aquino, AJ Rafael, David Choi, Victor Kim, Kina Grannis, Erika David, Jayesslee, J. Reyez, D-Pryde, Dumbfoundead, Crazed, Traphik, Toestah and more. Only, before anyone jumps to conclusion, it’s all a roundabout way of acknowledging and recognizing his friends and colleagues for doing their thing in a new age of entertainment. It’s a backhanded diss, if you will.

Jin Interviews w/ AX3

Jin is no stranger to the media and certainly has had his fair share of interviews, but this recent one with AX3 during a recent stop in Vancouver is one of the more thorough ones we’ve seen and is certainly one of the most informative glimpses of the “new” Jin. The total running time clocks in at approximately 20 minutes so you definitely need to set aside some time for the complete watch. They pretty much talk about everything so it’s certainly worth your time.

[Music Video] Jin – “Shoot for the Moon”

Here’s the latest visuals from Catch Adventures’ Jin. I haven’t peeped it myself yet but that shouldn’t mean you guys don’t, so by all means check it out! I’ll have my thoughts up later. The song is also now available on iTunes & Amazon for those of you wanting to add it to the playlist.

[Update] The MV is actually a pretty crafty way of putting together a montage/clip video. There is actually very little new material but it’s a great re-cap of Jin’s career up until this point over the past decade or so. He’s certainly come a long way, and will hopefully have longevity in his success.

[New Music] Jin – “Shoot for the Moon”

We told you about it a couple days ago, and here is the unveiling of the highly anticipated first single off of Jin‘s upcoming English album, his first in 5 years. The track is called “Shoot for the Moon” and has been released along with a new website. Jin and his team chose a great beat to rhyme over, it fits your voice and style well. It’s a promising start for return of the Catch Adventures MC. Expect an official music video to drop in the near future too!

Jin Announces First Single Off Upcoming Album – “Shoot For the Moon”

We know that Jin spent some time in the states earlier this spring, hard at work on his first full length English album in half a decade. Some of the fruits of his labor in California yielded the spontaneous viral collab track “Charlie Sheen” w/ Dumbfoundead & Traphik, and some sneak peeks at the LP featuring his label mates, including Joseph Vincent. Well things have just gotten all the more official with the announcement that he will be unveiling his first official single, titled “Shoot for the Moon”, off the album due later this year. It’s only two days away so be sure to check back early on the 4th!

[Album Release] JL x Manifest – Pull.Haul.Junkies Mixtape [Free DL]

Two-thirds of the Beautiful Cycle (JL x Manifest) camp has been out in Korea, but that hasn’t slowed down their grind one bit. In fact they’ve been busier than ever and here is their first post-domestic collection of tracks – the Pull.Haul.Junkies mixtape. There are a ton of supporting characters here too including Lyricks (of course), Khovito, MYK, Jin, Petey-O, C-Note and more. We’ve heard a couple tracks on here before including “Bloodsport“, “It Was Written“, and “Scarves“. It’s a free DL, check the Bandcamp widget below.

[Single Release] Manifest x Jin x JL x Lyricks – “It Was Written” [Free DL]

Here’s the first cut off the Pull.Haul.Junkies mixtape by Manifest & JL, due tomorrow (5/31). It’s a remix of the Damien Marley track “It Was Written” that features Jin & Lyricks as well. The four MC’s went in hard on this one – a good look & dope international collab from VA to Hong Kong to South Korea. But don’t take my word for it, check it out yourself – it’s a free DL.
