Watch a Performance of “By Chance (You & I)” by JRA, Feat I.aM.mE & Poreotics

In this special performance clip, JRA performs his bonafide Youtube hit, “By Chance (You & I)“. But what makes this particularly noteworthy is that he’s joined on stage by some noteworthy guests, Chachi Gonzales of I.aM.mE & Can and Jet-Li of the Poreotics. The crowd goes nuts when each of the dancers come out – showcasing some of the fun that is had while some of these artists are on tour.

Traphik x JRA Sing You “The Cuddle Song”

By now, we all know that Traphik loves to indulge his funny bone as both a rapper and a comedian. In this particular clip, he ropes in JRA to join him on his quest for musical comedic relief. They give you a silly little ditty they’ve christened, “The Cuddle Song”. It drags a little bit in length, but there are a few laugh out loud moments sprinkled here and there.

Thursday feels about right for another round-up, what do you think? We’ve put together a collection of in-studio performance videos where the artists chose to stay in the comfort of their creative environments. R&B, Pop, Hip-Hop, and everything in between all have representation in this mix. With 10 videos, I’m positive you’ll find something to enjoy, if not all.

A couple notes:

The Remixed Electro-Pop Songs Youtube Round-Up – 3/7/12

We’re still catching up on the ever growing list of covers and remixes that we come our way everyday, but the common theme among this post’s videos is the fact that they are all dance/electronica/pop related in their original forms. We’ve got everything from the dubstep vibes of Skrillex to the dance influenced stylings of Kelly Clarkson’s more recent single. While some have retained some resemblance to the originals, most have been flipped in a pretty drastic way.

JRA Debuts “This There That”

JRA has got a new performance clip out for a song called “This There That” where he takes his music to a slightly more… mature place. While much of the love songs were a good match for Valentine’s Day, this track is a little more appropriate for Valentine’s Night… if you catch my drift. JRA Sings “Between the Lines”

“Between the Lines” is a new piece by JR Aquino, a personal song about those post break-up moments that are full of confusion and excessive amounts of emotional hindsight. There’s just a touch of soul to this one, a welcome quality for the artist’s new work. But I think we’re a bit overdue for some new studio material from the singer!

I wrote this song in a pretty vulnerable state. Not knowing what to do next. You know, just wondering where everything went wrong.

The truth will set you free, but it sure hurts sometimes.

I call this the In-Studio Covers Round-Up because I had one criteria as the unifying theme. If I saw a mic in the video, I classified it as in-studio and threw it in this batch. Simple enough right? Nevermind if it was actually used for the recording, or if it’s just a prop, or whatever else. A few new faces sprinkled with some Youtube cover artist veterans. 10 videos in total. Have fun!

JRA Presents an “Alternate Reality”

Mr. Aquino gave us a preview of his song “Alternate Reality” back in September, but you can now hear it in it’s entirety – in live studio session form and not formally on record. JRA plays to his strengths, fusing acoustic music with a fair amount of R&B. We liked it back in September and enjoyed it even more now that i’s been heard to completion. Let’s hope a recorded studio version is in the works too!

Sometimes things don’t work out the way you want them to, when you want them to. All because of bad timing.

We all think about it at one time or another. Another reality where things are different. In this song, it’s about someone that longs to be with someone else, but can’t because of his/her current relationship/situation.
