YTF Sings “Ho Ho Ho”

YTF (kevjumba, nigahiga, Dtrix, Andrew Garcia, JRA, Victor Kim, Chester See) have uploaded a silly video to promote a silly song, “Ho Ho Ho”, off their recently released Christmas album. All the members of this musical/dance/comedy troupe are present and as goofy as ever. The song has gone through some transformations since we first heard it, but the premise is the same… don’t be a Ho.

YTF Releases the ‘YTF Christmas Album’

We’re going to have to request a late pass for this one. Earlier this month, multi-talented super group YTF (Ryan, Kev, Chester, Victor, D-Trix, JR and Andrew) released a self titled Christmas album together. The like minded crew of singers, dancers, comedians and more are grasping the opportunity to play off each other’s strengths and entertain their ever-growing audience. The release is a 5 song EP and is available from both Amazon & iTunes.

  1. Ho, Ho, Ho (feat. Ryan Higa, Kev Jumba, Chester See, D Trix, Victor King, Andrew Garcia & Jra)
  2. 4 Your Kisses (feat. Chester See & Victor King)
  3. My Wish List (feat. Kev Jumba, Andrew Garcia & Jra)

Megan Lee x Justin Chon Release a “Nice Guys” remix

Megan Lee has teamed up with actor Justin Chon for this remix/cover/parody MV of the songs “Nice Guys” – originally by Ryan Higa, Chester See and KevJumba. Megan & Justin’s version is titled “Nice Girls” and somewhat creepily features Justin in drag. It’s a humorous flip of an already humorous song but I’ll leave it up to you to judge how entertained you were.

You can watch the original versions after the break. Continue reading

JRA x Victor Kim x Chester See – “The Lazy Song” (Bruno Mars Cover)

Who’s feeling lazy today cause JR Aquino, Victor Kim, and Chester See are feeling “Lazy.” Actually their more in a singing mood then being lazy.  This song has a great melody to it and they kept it that way.  Also everyone had exceptional vocals, this is my first time hearing Chester sing and he did quite well from my point of view.  Being in one location is very risky to shoot a “MV” but they got really creative with their environment.  If you watch the whole video, you’ll be able to see different versions of the cover which is something new, at least for me.  KevJumba shot and edited the video, nice work by him.

Snapshot: JRA x J Reyez x Michelle Martinez x Traphik x Lil Crazed & More in Australia

L to R: JRA, J. Reyez, Kev Jumba, Michelle Martinez, Traphik, Lil Crazed

Here’s another Snapshot! Some of you may recall us reporting that a bunch of musicians and Youtube stars were having a couple shows in Australia back in December. Well this snapshot is from that time period and is a great capture and representation of the talent that was there. In this picture we have JR Aquino, J. Reyez, Kev Jumba, Michelle Martinez, Traphik, and Lil Crazed. The shot is only missing Lydia Paek. I can only imagine what an experience it was to tour in the land down under. Hopefully these moments will only become more and more proliferous for them.

Traphik x Crazed x JRA x Lydia Paek x Michelle Martinez x J Reyez & More to Tour in Australia

They’re going international! Many of our youtube stars have built up fan bases all over the world and now promoters are bringing some of the biggest Youtube talent to Australia. Traphik, Lil Crazed, JRA, Lydia Paek, Michelle Martinez, J Reyez, Kev Jumba and a whole rack of local Aussie talent will be hitting up Melbourne & Adelaide (I have no clue where those places are relative to one another). But if you’re a reader from down under and nearby any of those two cities, don’t miss out!

You can read up more on the event here. The facebook page for the Melbourne show is here, and the Adelaide show here.

David Choi x Kina Grannis x Wong Fu x KevJumba x Nigahiga & More Cover FM’s “Rocketeer”

David Choi and friends have put this fun little video cover together of Far East Movement’s “Rocketeer”. There are video appearances by Wong Fu, Nigahiga, KevJumba, Kina Grannis, and more. I gotta say, DC sure keeps a talented circle of friends. This is definitely one of the more novel covers I’ve heard of the song. Hopefully the original will continue to rocket up the charts similar to “Like a G6″ did.

Just ‘Cause: The Surprise Music Speaks 2010 Video for AJ Rafael

What do Kev Jumba, Ryan Higa, Chester See, JRA, Cathy Nguyen, Jesse Barrera, Andrew Garcia, Victor Kim, WongFu Productions, Jasmine Rafael, Jenny Suk, Summer Breeze, Melissa Polinar, Raelynne Rosales, Nessa Rica, Carissa Rae, Andrew Rhim, Melvin Gutierrez, PMAC, Adrian Per, Ubetunes, SquareMarden, Christine Concepcion, RB, Passion, and the rest of the Rafael Family have in common? They are all close to AJ Rafael in one form or another and have decided to put together a surprise video clip to show their love and support for the man, musician, friend, and family member that he is. This clip was made and revealed at Music Speaks 2010, the benefit concert organized by AJ in support of Autism, completely to his surprise. It’s a touching glimpse at the friendships and relationships that surround him.
