Seattle’s Kings Release “Tonight”

This one completely slipped under our radar, but Seattle rock band, kings, have a new(ish) track out called “Tonight”. According to iTunes it dropped back in September but this is the first I’ve heard of it. Soft launch aside, it turned out to be a great Coldplay-esque Rock track with the band continuing to refine and shape their sound. I think a lot of you will like this, especially considering the proportionally smaller number of rock artists we cover.

Kollaboration Seattle Trailer Now Online

I had the priveledge of attending the Kollaboration Seattle preview show last weekend while on vacation in Sea-town and one of the great surprises of the night was the unveiling of the trailer for the inaugural event up there. The Kollab cities def do not sleep on these videos, and this was probably one of the most impressive productions I’ve seen yet! It features two of the featured artists, Erin Kim & GOWE on the vocals in a high tempo dance track. Judging from the preview, if you’re in the North West this is an event you don’t want to miss. The show features bands Kings and The Melancholics, dance crew Hip Hop Anonymous, rapper GOWE ft Nina Seong, singers Erin Kim and Sola Yun, along with Black Mamba and Samuel Shin. Dumbfoundead & Daphne Loves Derby’s Kenny Choi will be guest performers as well.

Featuring Gowe, Erin Kim and Yoshi Wright of Hip Hop Anonymous — The first ever Kollaboration in Seattle! Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010; 7 PM at The Auburn Performing Arts Center! Go tohttp://www.kollaborationseattle.org for tickets!
