The In-Studio Covers Round-Up – 2/6/12

I call this the In-Studio Covers Round-Up because I had one criteria as the unifying theme. If I saw a mic in the video, I classified it as in-studio and threw it in this batch. Simple enough right? Nevermind if it was actually used for the recording, or if it’s just a prop, or whatever else. A few new faces sprinkled with some Youtube cover artist veterans. 10 videos in total. Have fun!

The Stringed-Instruments Youtube Round-Up – 1/12/12

OK, you may want to get some popcorn because this round-up is gigantic. How does a baker’s dozen worth of cover videos, all featuring a stringed instrument, sound? The vast majority of these videos are guitar driven but we have a couple surprises in there including a violin and a mandolin. Yea… we went there. So get your fill of the unplugged variety because the next round-up is going to be a little more Hippity Hoppity related.

Krystle Cruz Joins Alex de Guzman & Excel Cruz for “Sh!tGotDamn”

Daygo’s Krystle Cruz has a guest spot on a new track from Alex de Guzman, “Sh!tGotDamn” also featuring Excel Cruz. The R&B joint has it’s own DSLR music video that is sharp enough though a bit uneventful. I wouldn’t have complained had they ventured out of the house for a scene or two. If you like what you hear then you can DL the track for free here.

Krystle Cruz “Fall Out of Love” MV Released

As promised, here’s the new Krystle Cruz MV for her Underneath Me single, “Fall Out of Love”. The music video is an appropriate visual pairing for this R&B jam, where most aspects of the production value turned out decently above average. It’s certainly rekindled my interest in her 1.5 yr old album, so in that sense it’s served it’s purpose well. Hopefully we’ll soon hear some new material from the singer as well.

Krystle Cruz Provides a Preview of “Fall Out of Love” MV

Last year, Krystle Cruz dropped her album Underneath Me. The the daygo based singer has decided to promote another single off the project – “Fall Out of Love”, with a new music video set to drop on December 7th. The last single Krystle promoted was “Eternity” almost a year ago so it’s good to see her becoming more active again. Perhaps this would be a good time to revisit the album or check it out for the first time if you haven’t had the chance yet.

[New Music] Krystle Cruz Features on “Legacy” by Radd Pulse

We’re beginning to realize that a lot of the artists we cover make great guest features for techno/house/electronica tracks. We’ve heard Priscilla Ahn feature for Tiesto, Traphik for Eric Solomon, and now Krystle Cruz for Radd Pulse. It’s a hypnotic track with a steady, pounding bass that leaves you in a… err…. trance. Krystle’s airy vocals was a good fit. The song is a tad on the long side but “Legacy” is an enjoyable tune overall.
