As per usual, the genres are pretty diversely represented here, with everything from Pop/Rock to Rap to R&B to CCM each making an appearance. [New Music] Krystle Cruz Features on “Legacy” by Radd Pulse

We’re beginning to realize that a lot of the artists we cover make great guest features for techno/house/electronica tracks. We’ve heard Priscilla Ahn feature for Tiesto, Traphik for Eric Solomon, and now Krystle Cruz for Radd Pulse. It’s a hypnotic track with a steady, pounding bass that leaves you in a… err…. trance. Krystle’s airy vocals was a good fit. The song is a tad on the long side but “Legacy” is an enjoyable tune overall.

Dan aka Dan x Krystle Cruz Cover Jessie J’s “Price Tag”

One of the biggest songs right now is Jessie J’s “Price Tag”, so you can be sure there are a TON of Youtube covers out there right now. This is one of the better ones brought to you by afterschoolspecial‘s Dan aka Dan and Krystle Cruz. The SD natives do a great acoustic rendition and it seems like Dan has started to smooth out his flow a little bit in contrast to his rock/rap roots. It’s a chill, calm cover that I can appreciate.

Krystle Cruz Releases the “Eternity” MV

Back in July Krystle Cruz dropped her debut album Underneath Me. The lead single was a song called “Eternity” for which she’s just released the music video for to end cap a strong year for the young pop singer. The song is definitely one of the strongest off the album and I’m glad she chose to make a video for it. The MV is pretty decent all around with a lot of dance scenes… it’s kind of corny but in a fun way. But does anyone else think she looked better in the non-club scenes where she’s not all made up? Just my two cents haha.

Krystle Cruz – The Christmas Song (Cover)

Another beauty and talented singer is Krystle Cruz!  She covers the song “The Christmas Song” and might I say, she did a lovely job on it.  The scenery of her video really put you in the Christmas mood.  What there more to say but her lovable voice putting people in the Christmas spirit!  I bet if a million people heard this song, it would put a million smiles on their faces.  I’ll admit, it made smile and feel good after I listened to the song.  Hope it does the same to you!

Snapshot: JRA x Tommy C x Joseph Vincent x Lil Crazed x Traphik x Krystle Cruz x J Reyez & More Sing Aerosmith

OK, I know I’m posting this as part of our snapshot series and it’s not a photo, but what is a movie but a bunch of still images moving at many frames per second right? This is just one of those moments that I’m glad was captured and shared with the world. As many of you know, a bunch of Youtube stars were brought out to the Academy of Heroes event in Toronto. Well these guys don’t just perform together, they fellowship together too and it’s awesome to see them take their relationships past the professional and in the personal. It’s hard to spot everyone but I spied JRA, Tommy C of IBU, Joseph Vincent, Lil Crazed, Traphik, J Reyez and Krystle Cruz all belting out Aerosmith’s popular single.

Joanlee x Lil Crazed x Krystle Cruz x Michelle Martinez Drop MV for “Get Familiar”

In this big collab, Joanlee, Lil Crazed, Krystle Cruz, and Michelle Martinez use the beat from Chris Brown’s “Deuces” and put together their own song they call “Get Familiar”. I wasn’t feeling Joanlee’s singing parts, it came off distracting. Michelle and Krystle on the other hand are strong singers but their parts felt out of place until the very end where it all finally came together a little bit. I thought Crazed had the strongest contribution overall but the entire song wasn’t as cohesive as I hoped it would be. The idea was much stronger on paper than the execution. Too bad, they’re all talented but this collab was just aight for me.

You can DL the track for free here.

Lil Crazed x Krystle Cruz Release the MV for “By Your Side”

Back in May Lil Crazed dropped his Chapter 2: Famine mixtape, including the track “By Your Side” featuring Krystle Cruz. It’s one of the stronger tracks on the album and a great pop/R&B jam. Today they released the official MV for the song. It’s nowhere near as polished as the song itself but it does the job. No outfit changes, few locations, no effects… you can tell they did what they could and it didn’t turn out too bad, all things considered.

This song features Krystle Cruz, a very talented singer. The hook was written by Joanlee and produced by Flash Beats. The song is featured on my Chapter 2: Famine mixtape. The video was shot at Long Beach with cameos by Michelle Martinez, R. Productions, Joanlee and a few others. Also keep in mind, this was a NO budget music video. Enjoy!
