You’ve seen the MV for this mega posse cut, but now you get to see L. Scatterbrain x Lyraflip x Lyricks x Manifest x JL x Dumbfoundead & DJ Zo all perform “LAVA” live. It’s crazy to see so many of our talented MC’s on stage at one time on the same track. Watch it through till the end where DFD forgets his verse but freestyles the whole thing without missing a beat. That’s raw.

Lyricks, Manifest, Sickboi, JL and a bunch of other MC’s (mostly) from the 703 (Northern Virginia) area have dropped a mixtape entitled The Supernova Collective Volume One. You can hear one of the singles (“Guillotine Music”) in the promo video below. “LAVA“, “Cube Runners“, “Myndgames 2.0” and the “Lemonade remix” are also included. Other artists include Petey-O, Dak, Josh Shepard, C-Note, K-Prime, Smaals, Koreone, along with west coast stables L. Scatterbrain, Lyraflip and Dumbfoundead. It’s a pretty packed line up and at 26 tracks, a lot of music. Enjoy!

You’ve read about it here for months but the time has finally arrived. Guaranteed Raw, the debut mixtape for Virginia MC JL is now available. To mark the release real proper he’s also dropped an MV for one of the posse tracks entitled LAVA. You clever folk probably picked up that it stands for LA to VA… Los Angeles to Virginia. The video was directed by Lyricks and features a TON of footage. It’s straight hip-hop, no sugar coating… and it’s refreshing.

You can find the full tracklist after the break but make sure to pick up a copy and support some raw hip-hop. Besides those mentioned in LAVA, the mixtape features other talented artists such as Sickboi, Decipher and J-Smaals.

Check this quick, 1-round promo battle for Grind Time West between L. Scatterbrain and VoKab. This wasn’t a huge competitive match, just two participants getting a couple quick verses in a couple months back. VoKab was alright but L. Scatterbrain was definitely more polished.

It ain’t too long but it gives you a glimpse into who one of the possibly lesser known staples of the summit is and why he’s here to represent.

Quick promo video for the Asian Hip-Hop Summit ATL show on Nov. 14 at The Pointe. Shot with the homies and performers this year, Dante Fawkes and Passda with a special guest phone appearance from Dumbfoundead… where’s Al.P?!

They’ll join Lyricks, Manifest, Dumbfoundead, Lyraflip, DJ Zo, & L. Scatterbrain among others in the can’t miss event of good ol’ Georgia.

For those of you who have been following the Asian Hip-Hop Summit tour, you’d know dumbfoundead and company were travelling all over North America for the festivities.

Unfortunately it appears that there was a small mishap where their tour van was involved in an accident. It looks like everyone’s OK but they may have to miss a few shows while they take care of things.

The scheduled events are still set to take place but the show in DC tonight will likely be without dumb, Zo & Lyraflip (among others). However Lyricks & Manifest will still be in company so you should all still go out.

For updates be sure to follow dumb on twitter to get the latest and greatest news. Thank goodness it was nothing major!
