Check Out Legaci’s Performance Video for “All Day”
Towards the end of 2011, Legaci finally released a new single they could call all their own, stepping away for just a moment from the covers that opened so many doors for them. “All Day” is a Pop/R&B tune that (in my opinion) doesn’t quite do the group justice in showcasing their talents, but it’s an enjoyable, easy listen. So in continuation of the single’s promotions, they’ve released their performance video from MYX-Rated in the form of an in-studio live exhibition.
The Youtube Pop Covers Round-Up – 1/27/12
Happy Friday! This is yet another collection of youtube covers, this time around the centralizing genre is Pop. There are some extremely creative visuals here, along with some of the more run-of-the-mill-and-sing-in-front-of-a-webcam varieties, but all in all there’s a little something for everyone. We’ve got tunes from various decades, dating back from the 70′s – so it’s kind of interesting to hear what was and is Pop. Enjoy!

Two Cents: GT’s Top 10 Performance Clips from 2011
OK. One week down in 2012, and 51 one left to go! We’re continuing our 2011 countdown series with a recap of my top 10 favorite performance clips from last year. The criteria for this list came down to a mixture factors, including the actual performance, the crowd response, production values, and sheer overall entertainment. The only other restriction was that the clip had to be released in the calendar year of 2011, even if the performance is from earlier. Lastly, click through till the end for a bonus pick that didn’t quite fit in my top 10 but shouldn’t be ignored.

10. April Chase – “All You Need to Say” (article)
Ever since first discovering April Chase a couple years ago, they quickly became one of my favorite Pop/Rock bands. The group encompasses radio friendly hooks with a great rock foundation, wrapped up with Carina Valdes’ sweet but gutsy vocals. The only thing the above clip that is missing, was an audience to appreciate the unplugged rendition of “All You Need to Say” from their EP, Still Breathing. It’s always a blessing when a rock group still sounds just as fun and engaging without the benefit of studio polish.

Legaci Releases “All Day”
R&B group Legaci has finally dropped their latest single, “All Day“. The fellas have stayed busy over the past couple years touring with Justin Bieber but we’re happy to see they’ve found the time to knock out their own original track. The group has gained a large following with their various covers on Youtube but perhaps this will mark a change in tide to where we will see more promotions of their own tunes. Legaci to Release New Single – “All Day” – December 20th
It’s about time! After touring with Justin Bieber for the past couple years, R&B group Legaci is finally getting ready to drop a single of their own. It’s called “All Day” and will be released via the usual digital distributor suspects (iTunes, Amazon, etc) on December 20th. Check out the clip below for the official announcement along with a short preview of the song at the end. Very excited!

The Holiday Covers Round-Up Part 2
We told you we’d keep em coming! Here’s another batch of Holiday themed covers by a few R&B/Pop specialists. Legaci kicks things off by covering their employer’s (Bieber) hit, “Mistletoe”. Paul Kim & Jae Jin sing on the solo tip with a couple classic covers, Jessica Sanchez with an old standard, and Eunice Kiss rounds it out with the playful “Santa Baby”.
