Legaci to Release New Single – “All Day” – December 20th

It’s about time! After touring with Justin Bieber for the past couple years, R&B group Legaci is finally getting ready to drop a single of their own. It’s called “All Day” and will be released via the usual digital distributor suspects (iTunes, Amazon, etc) on December 20th. Check out the clip below for the official announcement along with a short preview of the song at the end. Very excited!

Just wanted to share a special announcement with you all!

On Tuesday, December 20, we will be releasing our debut single titled ALL DAY! After two years of touring with Justin Bieber, it feels great to finally come out with some original music.

ALL DAY will be released on iTunes, Amazon and other online digital music retailers. So we hope you can support and cop the single when it drops!

The Holiday Covers Round-Up Part 2

We told you we’d keep em coming! Here’s another batch of Holiday themed covers by a few R&B/Pop specialists. Legaci kicks things off by covering their employer’s (Bieber) hit, “Mistletoe”. Paul Kim & Jae Jin sing on the solo tip with a couple classic covers, Jessica Sanchez with an old standard, and Eunice Kiss rounds it out with the playful “Santa Baby”. Legaci Shares Live Performance Footage from Bieber Tour

By now everyone should be aware that Legaci got to tour with the Biebs himself as his back up. One of the greatest thing bout that opportunity was that they were given 10 minutes to perform a set in the middle of the show. So naturally they chose one of their biggest covers, the top 40 acappella medley. I think they sound even better live, listen to the crowd go nuts! Much respect to the crew, can’t wait to see what’s next for them.

Legaci x Summerbreeze have proven to make an incredible team in the past, but for those who’ve forgotten why, here’s blatant reminder. We haven’t heard form Legaci in what seems like ages but in this Youtube comeback video they cover the highly popular “Grenade” by Bruno Mars. I’d tell you they killed it but did any of you expect any less? Glad to see they haven’t lost a step after their extended tour with the Beibs.

Traphik Releases the “Throw Em Out!” MV & the MixedApe Mixtape

In case you forgot Timothy De La Ghetto was an MC and not just a comedian he returns with a new MV for the single “Throw Em Out” from his brand new mixtape MixedApe. The video quality and editing is pretty fresh but I got to admit even though I don’t always think Traphik is funny, part of his appeal & charm is his silly antics. It’s a little off putting to see a “serious” production without more gags and spoofs. Whether you like the track or not, there are 19 other songs to sample from his new mixtape. Some songs you’ve likely heard before (Bedrock, Say Aah, I Rock Onesies, etc) and there are some new joints on there too. Legaci Features on Etana Caplin’s “Finally Here”

Check out this clip of Legaci featuring on Etana Caplin’s single “Finally Here”. Etana is a young singer/songwriter somewhat similar in sound to Colbie Caillat and Taylor Swift. Although their contribution isn’t overwhelming, it really helped ground the song and added significant texture to the sound. Glad to see Legaci continue to expand their sphere of influence though they definitely deserve to go from back up to spotlight.

They share a little bit about their experiences touring, some of their favorite cities, how they got to link up with Justin Bieber, their upcoming solo work and more. It’s just too bad all the members of the group weren’t present to chime in as well. It’s great to hear from the guys!

News Quickies: More Bruno Mars Covers Edition

Mr Mars continues to be a hot topic, with more covers than ever before. This evening we have three new clips to share, two of the fan favorite “Just the Way You Are” and another of his newer single “Grenade”.

Jane Lui is known to be a unique songstress and continues to exemplify that with her awesome cover full of great instrumentation and arrangement. This girl is a living example of creativity.

It’s been quite some time since their last “proper” cover but Legaci puts their trademark spin on JTWYA, and they of course kill it with ease.

Lastly is Gabe Bondoc covering the newer “Grenade”. It’s a stripped down performance but Gabe doesn’t need fancy background music to distract from his vocals.
