Jeremy Passion has (finally) released his debut album, For More Than a Feeling, along with the concept EP, Pixelated. The former is his first full length body of work, totaling 11 tracks including a re-tooled version of his claim to fame, “Lemonade”. The latter is a collection of songs focused on the concept of long distance relationships; something JP has a great deal of experience with. Both releases are now available via Amazon & iTunes. He gets to talking about his music, being an indie musician, his Empty Suitcase Project, and along with some personal news. The guy is extremely talented and one of the earlier musicians to gain popularity over the internet on a large scale.

Lyricks x Manifest x Sickboi x JL & More Release The Supernova Collective Volume One Mixtape

Lyricks, Manifest, Sickboi, JL and a bunch of other MC’s (mostly) from the 703 (Northern Virginia) area have dropped a mixtape entitled The Supernova Collective Volume One. You can hear one of the singles (“Guillotine Music”) in the promo video below. “LAVA“, “Cube Runners“, “Myndgames 2.0” and the “Lemonade remix” are also included. Other artists include Petey-O, Dak, Josh Shepard, C-Note, K-Prime, Smaals, Koreone, along with west coast stables L. Scatterbrain, Lyraflip and Dumbfoundead. It’s a pretty packed line up and at 26 tracks, a lot of music. Enjoy!

Most people who have been following Asian-American music for a while will be familiar with the classic Passion song “Lemonade”. Well a bunch of singers were in Canada for a gig and what do you get when a lot of talent is in a small room? Awesome jams. Check out this clip of Victor Kim, Lydia Paek, JRA, Erika David, Traphik and Passion all jamming out to “Lemonade”. You can tell it was a bit impromptu but it’s still a fun clip.

If any of you have been hungry for some material from The Beautiful Cycle camp in Virginia, then today’s your lucky day because they just dropped their new remix of the Gucci Mane track ‘Lemonade’. These guys go in full speed, never letting up on the tempo. Lyricks does his thing on the hook, with C-Note, Mani and Sickboi on the verses in that respective order. It’s a hot remix though I felt the mixing was a tad rough but over all I def like it more than the original. These guys rep NoVa hard. DL it for free here.
