D-Pryde Drops the “Ready To Go” MV

Here’s a new video drop from the kid D-Pryde. The song is off his Mars Mixtape from earlier in the Summer, and makes use of a very familiar sample from Journey. Both the song and video are classic D-Pryde, full of catchy and fun energy. Still kind of startling to look back and realize the dude started rapping remixes in-front of a webcam. Don’t say we didn’t tell you it was coming! The highly anticipated Rik Cordero directed MV for D-Pryde‘s “Outro Flow” song from his recent Mars Mixtape has just released. It’s a simple and well done visual for a simple and well done track; very fitting and something I can definitely appreciate.

But in perhaps even bigger news, D-Pryde has just announced that he will be going on an 8-stop tour in Canada with quickly rising rap star, J. Cole! You can find out more information after the break. A huge congrats to Prizzy for two huge milestones.

D-Pryde Works With Rik Cordero on MV for “Outro Flow”

Famed director Rik Cordero is reportedly the creative driving force behind D-Pryde‘s next MV for his single “Outro Flow” off the Mars Mixtape released recently. Shooting wrapped earlier this week and the music video is hinted as dropping in the near future so stay tuned because this sounds like something you don’t want to miss. Pryde has had a huge year and his career milestones only continue to grow; can’t wait to see the final product!

After hyping the release all year, D-Pryde & company have finally released the Mars Mixtape. You get 15 songs, several of which we’ve heard before (“Did It On My Own“, “Ready to Go“), along with a handful of features. This is possibly his more significant collection of work yet since he signed on board with Mars Music Group last summer. Don’t sleep if you’re a Prizzy fan! In preparation for the Mars Mixtape (due June 3rd in case you didn’t see the graphic above), D has just leaked the first single off the release and it’s called “Ready to Go”. Does something about it sound familiar? The beat flips a sample of the iconic classic rock song “Don’t Stop Believin” by Journey. The track is radio friendly, completely with the requisite auto-tuned hook but it’s not nearly waterd down as it could have been. I think it’s a pretty solid track. You can DL it here for free.

D-Pryde Announces Mixtape Release Date & Drops Big Sean Cover Video

So it looks like the MMG’s “Mars Mixtape”  will drop in a month and a half, on June 3rd. I’m sure you can expect plenty of D-Pryde on there. In the meanwhile, the kid D has chosen to drop a new cover video. I can’t argue that the Big Sean track “My Last” isn’t a decent track; which is likely by D-Pryde is yet another rapper to use the instrumental for a remix of his own. Not bad at all. It’s a free DL, so get it here.
