Melissa Polinar x Cathy Nguyen x Nessa Rica Sing “Say You’ll Stay”

Meslissa Polinar, Cathy Nguyen, and Nessa Rica once again team up to sing another M. Polinar original – “Say You’ll Stay” from her late 2010 album, the As of Now EP. This is another video from the same series that brought us their collaborative cover of “Meant to Be”. We already knew the girls sound great together, and this only reinforces the point. Speaking of collaborative groups, I wonder what ever happened to Blyss?

It’s hard to ask for more than good friend and good music, especially when it’s all experienced concurrently. Melissa Polinar‘s “Meant to Be” seems to be something of a singer’s song, and lucky for us, she, Cathy Nguyen and Nessa Rica decided to re-visit Polinar’s throwback jam and put their own fresh little spin on it, complete with harmonies. This is the perfect track to unwind to this evening after a long day’s worth of work.

Then again, why would she stop when she has such a winning combination? I personally can’t wait until she decided to drop a new studio album. Melissa Polinar Teams Up With Ernie Halter & Matt Cusson to Sing “See the Stars”

Texas belle, Melissa Polinar, posted up a new performance video where she sings a new tune called “See the Stars”. She has a little help from a couple talented singer/songwriters by the names of Ernie Halter & Matt Cusson. If you like your acoustic music with just a twinge of country soul, this ones for you! Can’t wait to hear a studio version of this track (hopefully).

So here’s a song I wrote last month called “See The Stars.” I originally wanted one harmony but when I found out that both Matt and Ernie would be able to meet up on one fine Wednesday (2.22.12), I was not only thrilled to spend time with them but also decided to make this song a TRIO and record a video! I’ve collaborated with these guys on separate occasions before and it felt great to be in one room with the both of them! I called it my “talent overdose” session. :)

Melissa Polinar Catches Us “Off Guard” with New Music

We’re always pretty excited to hear new material from the smoky voiced Melissa Polinar. “Off Guard” is a tune she wrote just a few weeks back, so it can’t get much newer than that. Polinar sounds as great as ever, and we continue to witness her growth as a song writer. The track is available for purchase from her Bandcamp page. Here’s to hoping she can get in the studio with Jesse Barrera again soon to lay this down proper.

There’s a lot of acoustic music in this particular grouping, with one particular exception. As always, the production qualities vary wildly but there should be something for everyone to enjoy.
