DJ Neil Armstrong Releases 10th Anniversary Edition of ‘Original’

10 years ago, 5th Platoon representative, DJ Neil Armstrong, dropped a classic Hip-Hop mixtape entitled Original. Now he’s chosen to commemorate the event with a 10 year anniversary re-release. Only this is a deluxe, all-out, spare-no-expense, type of affair – they really did it proper and dubbed it Original: All Out King. As an ode to the past you get a cassette AND a USB drive with the digital version. There’s a lot of history and story to this release, so be sure to check out all the details after the break and at DJ NA’s website!!

Honey Cocaine Releases the ‘F*ck Yo Feelings Vol. 1′ Mixtape

With a rapper alias like Honey Cocaine, you wouldn’t expect her to drop a project called Rainbows & Butterflies would you? Good, because her mixtape has officially been dubbed Fuck Yo Feelings Vol. 1. I take it she’s not that interested in being empathetic. The Tyga protoge drops 15 tracks on this release, with titles like “Bitch, Please”, “Asshole”, and “Feel Shit”. Charming, ain’t she? This mixtape one is on the house, so download it here to add it to your collection.

Rock + Roz Present: The Morning After Mixtape

Rocky Rivera once again teams up with DJ Rozo for their third mixtape (with the former hosting and the latter mixing), The Morning After. For those of you going through withdrawal from all the Lover’s festivities, this could be just the pick me up for that Romantic hang-over like a bowl of emo-pho. The project includes 26 tracks, one of which is the new joint from Rocky herself, “February 15th”. Interested? Click here to DL it for absolutely free.

Massiah Drops the ‘Welcome to Shadowville’ Mixtape

Sea-town’s Massiah has a new mixtape out with the ominous title of Welcome to Shadowville. Length-wise, it’s more of an EP, coming in at just 8 tracks. Mass’s flow is polished  though the production values of the release could use a little more elbow-grease as it definitely has that bedroom-studio type of sound. If you’re a fan of solid underground Hip-Hop, then you may want to consider checking this one out.
