Two weeks ago, mree gave us a little preview of the MV for her song “Of the Trees”. The single off the Grow album was one of my favorites of the project, so I’m glad to see it be given a visual promotional push. The young singer matches the ethereal tone of the song. The girl is impressively self reliant, filming and editing the majority of the footage on her own. Lyrics can be found after the break.

mree Shares Teaser for “Of the Trees” MV
mree has a new music video in the works for “Of the Trees”, a single from her Grow album that dropped last fall. Her brand of soothing folk pop is in full effect with what looks to be an equally calming visual to match. The full video should be released soon, but there’s no hard date just yet. As I sit here Tuesday night (early Wednesday), a little after midnight, I feel like I can relate to the title of this new track by Mree. There are no lyrics, just a calming, almost angelic layering of vocals that is close to easing me into a needed deep slumber. Hm, reading that back, I may be too tired to write this anyway. Take a listen for yourself, and happy dreams, everyone!

Fans of HS senior/budding folk-pop artist mree should be happy to hear that she nas a new song out called “Never Forget You” and it’s available as free DL for a limited time. Well, it’s free in terms of monetary value but you’re going to have to offer up your e-mail address and join her mailing list to actually get the DL link. In my opinion, it’s well worth it. With Valentine’s day being just a touch over a week away, mree will be getting ready to release a “Song for Your Valentine” “Never Forget You” on the special holiday for couples. mree Jams Out with a Looping Pedal
Thought some of you may enjoy this clip of mree having fun with one of her musical gizmos, the looping pedal. She doesn’t create a standard song per se, but rather layers melody upon melody with various forms of vocals and instrumentation. Rather, it all makes for a listen of almost gossamer like quality. The young singer songwriter is brimming with creativity, and this is yet another example.

Mree Releases the MV for “Lift Me Up”
Christmas Day brought us a little gift in the form of a new single from Mree, “Lift Me Up“. Now we have the official music video to the folk/pop tune, that’s as calm and soothing as Mree’s sweet but earthly vocals. What’s even more impressive is the young singer shot and edited it on her own… not bad, not bad at all! This girl only continues to show more and more promise.
**Fun fact! The rhythm stuff you’re hearing is me ripping paper and banging on various objects on my desk. How fun!
Mree Releases “Lift Me Up”
Technically this dropped yesterday but we thought it better to share later than never! Mree‘s latest single is another soothing, ethereal tune by the name of “Lift Me Up”. The song is available from the usual suspect of online retailers and if you’d like to hear a preview of it you can check out the Youtube vlog clip below of the singer announcing the single. We recommend you go ahead and just get it!

Mree Releases Debut Album – ‘Grow’
Marie Hsiao, the young singer/songwriter from Jersey known artistically as Mree, has just released her debut full length album entitled Grow. This is a great milestone for any artist, much less someone who has gained so much traction in just a short time, at such a young age.
