Mani & JL have been grinding hard in the motherland for a while now, and that includes linking up with like-minded artists out there including R&B/Hip-Hop group One Way. In this clip from Arirang radio a couple months ago, the artists all give a live performance of a couple tracks, namely “December 18″ and “New Drag”. It’s a dope listen, so check it out!

The Creative Youtube Remixes Round-Up – 9/26/11
Today we chose to showcase some of the more creative covers/remixes we’ve come across in the past couple weeks. Each of the following renditions are different enough from the original – either in arrangement, instrumentation, genre, etc that we thought you shouldn’t miss them. Jane Lui gives an incredible interpretation of “Moves Like Jagger”. One Way takes it back with some interpolation of R&B classics. JV stays a bit more contemporary but mashes up a couple Drake hits on the acoustic 6-string. Laura Song & friends give an intriguing performance powered by iPads. And lastly, Maribelle takes an FM song and changes up the genre – leaving only the beat in tact. Check them all out!

One Way Covers “Don’t Love You No More” By Craig David
This cover was too nice not to share with y’all. Although One Way is primarily a KPOP group they performed a dope cover of Craig David’s “Don’t Love You No More”. This is just a rehearsal clip but these guys still exude a smoothness not t often seen from a KPOP group. I guess it helps that the members grew up abroad, including here in the US. We hope you enjoy this cover as much as we did!
WTF: One Way – U Drag MV & Song
Hello a-Tunes. We apologize for missing last Week’s Thursday Freebie, I was caught up at the David Choi concert in the DC area. We’ll have our post on the event up real soon but for right now I didn’t want to miss it two weeks in a row!
This week we have what is actually a KPOP track but it’s all in english and done by a new group composed of Korean Americans called One Way. They recently dropped a new single album and this was their first release. It’s a smooth R&B/Hip-Hop track and actually my favorite cut from their self titled single album. Here’s the MV.
The group is composed of Young Sky, Chance and Peter. Young Sky is an MC, Peter is the main singing vocal and Chance pulls double duty as the leader of the group. They show promise and are one of the more interesting groups I’ve heard in the KPOP scene in quite some time. I like that they brought some American flava to their music. Though I will admit, at times they it seems like they’re trying too hard to look cool in their videos.
If you’re feeling the track, you can download the MV & MP3 after the jump! Happy Weekly Thursday Freebie!
