Paperdoll tends to come out with some of the most interesting videos with a single location. Their latest MV for “Silent” (iTunes, Amazon), from their upcoming Sashimi Deluxe!, takes place in an industrial where house, where the band is hard at work at creating something special. The direction duties were handled by the up and coming video production group, Descendant Films. The song can also be found on the soundtrack to the film, White Frog.

Paperdoll Band Drops the MV for “Can’t Concentrate”
Rockers Paperdoll have a new MV to share for “Can’t Concentrate”. I didn’t even know they dropped this single over the summer! Quiet launch aside, it’s a fun rock track with the video to match featuring neon colors, lighting and plenty of hula hoops. Sound intruiging? That’s because it kind of is… Check out the video along with the requisite purchasing options directly below!
Snapshot: Paperdoll on DeAcetis Style
I came across this photo the other day and thought it’d be a perfect addition to our Snapshot series. Rock band Paperdoll was recently featured on DeAcetisStyle.com, an international digital style guide. Photographer Cameron R Neilson provided a slick image for their entry with lead vocalist Teresa Lee featured beautifully front and center. The NY-based band continues to build a buzz for themselves, one that is well deserved. Check out the post in full over at DeAcetisStyle.
[New Music] Paperdoll – “Silent”
This is a fresh track from the band Paperdoll, set to a photo montage from all over the world. The clip is meant to serve as a big thank you to all their fans, friends, and supporters from Shanghai, Hangzhou, Tianjin, Suzhou, and Beijing to New York, LA , SF, DC, Dublin and more. It’s yet another strong song from the band, can’t wait to hear what else the group is cooking up.
PaperDoll Debuts the MV for “You Can’t Stop It”
It’s been months since we’ve seen or heard from PaperDoll, but thankfully that’s just changed. The rock band has just released their MV for the song “You Can’t Stop It”. The MV concept is akin to taking Gloria Estefan’s “Rhythm Is Gonna Get You” and putting a a rock spin on it. It’s a fun MV with very sharp visuals though a bit stylistically plain. However I’m glad to see the band continue to make moves and exhibit their talent.
Paperdoll’s Teresa is AAM’s Angry Reader of the Week

Rockband Paperdoll may be most recognized by front woman Teresa Lee, and that’s one of the reasons why she’s this week’s feature on AAM. Per usual, this interview is short but it’s pretty darn humorous and an entertaining read. I can dig it when a girl’s got a biting sense of humor. Be sure to read on after the break!
Watch Paperdoll Perform “Nothing Has Changed” Live in China
Paperdoll (winner of Kollab NY 2010) has just posted up footage of them rocking out in China, singing their song “Nothing Has Changed” off their 2008 album Ballad Nerd Pop. It’s awesome to see the band go international but kind of humorous how calm and docile the crowd is, especially considering it’s a rock song. Oh well, the band continues to do big things and it’s great to see them continue to grow their exposure.
Paperdoll Interviews for Frexh
I imagine some of you don’t know about Frexh, a huge international event taking place in Shangai this year showcasing music, art, fashion, and food. Well NYC based Paperdoll is one of the headlining music acts, and their interview for the event has been posted. Things have really taken off for the band this year, with a national TV ad song placement, winning Kollaboration NY, and now getting perform an international stage. 2010, go big or go home!
