Frank Ocean has been a rather popular artist to cover recently, so we threw together a quick round-up of covers by Jeremy Passion, Maribelle Anes, Erin Kim, Verseatile, New Heights, Andy Ha, and Jae Jin. There are two songs here, “Thinking About You” and “We All Try”, and some chose to switch things up while others played it by the book – singing over the official instrumental. Enjoy your Friday!
Jeremy Passion has (finally) released his debut album, For More Than a Feeling, along with the concept EP, Pixelated. The former is his first full length body of work, totaling 11 tracks including a re-tooled version of his claim to fame, “Lemonade”. The latter is a collection of songs focused on the concept of long distance relationships; something JP has a great deal of experience with. Both releases are now available via Amazon & iTunes. Don’t miss out!
Just as he did for his upcoming debut album, For More Than a Feeling, Jeremy Passion has uploaded an interactive listening station for his EP, Pixelated. That’s right, he recorded a full album and and EP at the same time! So check out snippets of the 6 track release, due out soon. One of them even features Melissa Polinar, and we can always appreciate that.
Aside from my debut album releasing this month, I also took time to record a brand new EP entitled, Pixelated.
This is an album dedicated to those in long distance relationships. I’ve been there before and I know how it is, so I hope this album serves as an encouragement and inspiration to all of you out there loving someone afar.
This album will also be sold on itunes and many other online retailers for $6.
Well ain’t this a clever bit of marketing? You can now check out short clips of every track from Jeremy Passion‘s soon to be released debut album, For More Than a Feeling. The release date was scheduled for 12/13 but there’s a possibility that they may not be available from all online retailers by that date, however it should be up everywhere later in the month. Could the album be worth the long wait? It just may be!
Dear Supporter,
I know a lot of you have been waiting to find out when my album releases.
Truth is, the album is still being processed to all the online retailers and it is not a definite that it will be released on 12/13/11 (original release date) but I do know for sure, the album will be released before Christmas (12/25/11).
For now, enjoy these samples off my album. We have worked VERY VERY hard on this album and this is pretty much my heart on disc. Thank you for supporting me and my musical career! Love you all!

Passion is finally getting ready to launch his debut album, For More Than a Feeling, due in December. Here’s a look at his next single, “Trace”, a acoustic Pop song with some Jazzy influences. It has a distinctive Stevie Wonder feel to it, and that’s something I can always appreciate. This song was mixed by seemingly everyone’s engineer of choice, Jesse Barrera - if you like what you hear, get it via the Bandcamp widget below for a buck.
This is first Youtube round up for November and we decided to keep you all warm with a collection of duet videos. There’s a pretty big range of genres here, so I’m sure you’re bound to find something you like. So without further ado, check out these covers by Inch & Dawen, Jessica & Blair, Priscilla & Milow, Maribelle & Christian, Clara & Cathy, AJ & Noah, and Jeremy & Melissa. Each pair made a great team so enjoy!

As expecter, there has been an influx of Beyonce covers lately since the release of her new album 4. Today’s round up features some of the songs off that album with covers from the usual R&B female vocal suspects and a surprising but great turn out from Passion as the sole male vocalist. After the break you can find versions of the ex-Destiny’s Child lead by Jenny Suk, Erin Paula and Stacy Dudero.
San Francisco’s Passion, one of the early staples to rise in fame via the internet (before Youtube!), has surprisingly never released a full-length album. Sure, he’s had demos and EPs and song leaks here and there but now’s the time for him to finally reach the milestone of releasing his debut LP after 9 years into his music career. Overdue to say the least. His ambition doesn’t end there though, as also planning to drop an EP the same day! The LP will be titled For More Than a Feeling, and the EP, Pixelated.
Passion will be working closely with musician/producer Jesse Barrera for these projects but of course is looking to raise some fundage to help alleviate the costs. Check out the video below to see how you can contribute to these records and help Passion reach an important step in his career.
For a limited time only, Passion is re-releasing his The Difference EP from 2006 as a precursor to his long over due debut full-length album – due at the end of the year. You can pick up this 8 track EP for a cool 8 dollars from his BigCartel shop. If you’re interested in hearing a little bit before you buy, check after the break for a recent webcam performance he did of one of the singles, “My First Love”.
If you watch only one cover today, this should probably be it. JR Aquino, Jeremy Passion, and Andrew Garcia (three well known acoustic voices) decided to put together a little John Mayer cover of “I Don’t Trust Myself”. It’s kind of astonishing how well their vocals blend together. I can’t imagine too many people disliking this one. They are all capable solo artists in their own right, but a little project group on the side couldn’t hurt… that’d be dope.
