Now, all these months later, the film is complete and ready for it’s premiere at the Los Angeles Pan Asian Pacific Film Festival. You can now view the trailer, which gives us a look at all the interviews and the overlying focus of this film – a movement that is near and dear to our hearts at a-Tunes. Paul J Kim Debuts the MV for “Run Fly Fall”

“Run Fly Fall” may be going on two years old from the EP of the same name by Paul Jisung Kim, but if you’re going to promote the single with a music video – this is the way you should do it. This definitely sets itself apart from your average song and video combo, with the former comprised of layered acapella elements, and the latter making creative use of sharp video editing. You should be sure to chekc this one out.

Paul Jisung Kim Shares “Girls are Complicated”

Here’s the latest clip from Paul Jisung Kim. He’s singing an original tune called “Girls are Complicated”, a mildly catchy song that has some potential if laid out properly. In this particular video he reminded me a lot of Mat Kearny, not sure if any one else here’s the resemblance… maybe it’s me. A decent clip, let’s hope it makes it unto his next studio release.

Paul Jisung Kim Covers ‘Viva La Vida’ by Coldplay

OK, I couldn’t help but post this cover. It’s completely acapella and undoubtedly impressive. Paul Jisung Kim decides to cover the well known Coldplay hit ‘Viva La Vida’ and it’s friggn cool. He heavy layers his vocals and forgoes all instrumentation, instead opting to recreate the sound with just his voice. I think you’ll dig this one, and if so you can DL it for free too!

Mike Isberto x Paul Jisung Kim Remix/Cover ‘Billionaire’

So the song ‘Billionaire’ by Travie McCoy & Bruno Mars is seriously becoming one of the most popular songs of the moment, and Mike Isberto x Paul Jisung Kim (two contestants from this year’s Kollaboration) have decided to drop their own version. Mike’s vocals are a good match for their rendition though it’s kind of a shame PJK was limited to rap verses and didn’t do any singing too. They changed up the lyrics and added visuals for your benefit so pay attention!

PJK Releases Kollaboration 10 Backstage Jam With Clara Chung, Mike Isberto, Alfa Garcia, and Sam Hart

Paul Jisung Kim has posted up some exclusive backstage footage of a goofy jam session he had with his fellow Kollaboration 10 contestants – Clara Chung, Mike Isberto, Alfa Garcia, and Sam Hart.

It’s absolutely nonsensical yet clearly showcases how talented this artists are. Gotta love the vocal horn PJK does along with Clara’s Red Bull percussion. The entire thing ended up being an unofficial ad for Blackberry, so I’m all you crackberry addicts out there can appreciate it. It’s awesome to see musicians chilling together and just having fun with the art they love.

Showdown: David Choi vs Kollaboration 10 vs Kris Mark x Krystle Tugadi vs Joseph Vincent

It’s been a while since our last Showdown, and after seeing a new cover of the new(ish) Train song ‘Hey Soul Sister’ I thought it’d be fitting to round up some of the covers and do a fun little comparison. This time we got another fairly big group with David Choi, the Kollaboration 10 Competitors (Will Volume, Paul Jisung Kim, Mike Isberto, Clara Chung, Jason Yang, Sam Hart & Alfa Garcia), Kris Mark & Krystle Tugadi, and Joseph Vincent all putting their own spin on the fun little single.

So which version is your favorite?

David Choi with his crazy layers?

The Kollaboration 10 Crew with the massive ensemble?

Kris Mark & Krystle Tugadi’s acoustic R&B twist?

or Joseph Vincent with his simple but breezy interpretation?

Each version brought a pretty unique style to the table so I suppose it’s all a matter of taste but regardless, vote for your favorite(s)!
