Welcome Back to Rin on the Rox
So remember all that talk about the possible disbandment of Rin on the Rox? Well you’ve got nothing to worry about. They are back from their (short) hiatus, doing their thing on youtube for you all once again.
This is their rendition of Keri Hilson’s ‘Energy’. Welcome back ladies, always good to hear you & your harmonies.
-edit-
They posted another video as well. Cover of ’Outta Here’ by Esmee Denters. A couple pitchy moments but pretty good overlal.
Update on Rin on the Rox Breakup
You may recall how we reported that Rin on the Rox appears to have broken up … well they have been quiet since the announcement until Rin finally released a statement.
Here is what Rin posted up on her youtube description for her latest video:
FYI: Roxanne and I are still the best of friends =], Roxanne does not have her own channel, I only made this account for fun nothing too serious, I dont want to go solo just singing and posted vids for you guys =], Rin on the rox is on a break…I can’t say if it’s permanant or if were coming back to YouTube…we’ll see what happens…we love you guys and thank you guys so much for still supporting us.
It’s good to hear that they are still close although the question still remains what is to become of their career as a group. As for her latest cover, meh… not really feeling this one. She sang it well but it was all too karoake for me.
Why do I sound like Simon Cowell? haha
Rin on the Rox … On the Rocks?

Is Rin on the Rox no more? It appears to be that way. Now, understand there’s no reason given as to why the star youtube group has halted activites but they have posted the following tweets:
To everyone who supported ROTR…thank you so much. It may be obvious that roxanne and i decided to take another path with our career, WLY!!
We’re just mainly on a break…So sorry we havnt been on YouTube in awhile…We love and miss you all!
In addition, Erin has started up a new youtube page for herself and she’s already posted up a few solo videos. Is this the end of Rin on the Rox? I guess we’ll find out in time.
For a couple of girls who got famous for singing in their bathroom, invited to Ellen and released a single, its obvious they’ve come a long way. Hopefully their journey will continue.
Showdown: Marie Digby vs Rin on the Rox
Showdown time! So both of these videos were posted months back but I recently came across them again and thought they make an intriguing match up. This time around the artists are covering Ne-yo’s “Part of the List”; a great r&b song from his album last year. Let’s check out each act’s rendition:
So who did you like more? On one hand Marie’s stripped down rendition was beautiful and moving while Rin on the Rox stayed more faithful to the original but brought some incredible harmonies. I dunno about this one folks, I’m on the fence here. If you can choose, cast your vote below!

Rin on the Rox appears on the Ellen Show
Filipino American Youtube sensation Rin on the Rox had a guest recently had a guest appearance on the Ellen Degeneres show. They seem like a couple of fun girls and their harmonies are impressive.
They were previously given a mention on the show after their youtube videos caught Ellen’s attention.
