Find Arden Cho in “A Place Like This”
In an interesting twist, Arden Cho has shared a darker, more haunting song than her norm called “A Place Like This”. The song makes eerie use of the keys and violin to create a slow and intense backdrop for the singer. In the end, I think it all came together quite well. Philip from Seriously helped out with the viola work. Check out the clip below.
Seriously Returns with “Fireflies”
It’s a bit of a curious notion as to why Seriously has been so quiet in 2011 with nary a word from their camp however that thankfully changes this evening with their live preview of the song “Fireflies”. This slow-paced song has a lot of potential. I sincerely hope this is the first of many new appearances from the band, it’s been a long time since they’ve been active. Unfortunately it looks like they may have lost a member since then too – which may explain the hiatus.
“Redemption”, The New Seriously Single Now Available

The band Seriously has dropped a new single entitled “Redemption” that is now available for purchase from either their website, iTunes and Amazon. I haven’t had the chance to check this one out yet but I will soon though based on their past track record I have no reasons to expect any less than a strong single from these fellas. So much new music today!
Lyrically crafted by bassist Nathan Park, “Redemption” is Nathan’s plea to God during a difficult period inhis life. “I sought fulfillment in all the wrong places, only to be left feeling emptier than ever,” Nathandescribes. “It was only in my humility and brokenness that I realized His promise for deliverance standsstrong, and His redemptive plan is indeed what I had been searching for all along.”
Seriously Shares In Studio Preview of Next Single – “Redemption”
Seriously isn’t the kind of band to stop doing what they do best – making great music. Today they shared a preview of their next single called “Redemption”. All we get is a little bit of the instrumental as they rehearse in studio, along with a short clip of the song at the end. It’s just enough to get you intrigued but short enough to make you frustratingly want more. All they’ve said is that it’s “coming soon”. When it’s up we’ll be sure to share it with you.
Seriously Performs Remix of “Been So Long” & “Immaculate Addiction”
Are you a fan of Seriously? Did you enjoy their singles “Been So Long” & “Immaculate Addiction“? then you’re gonna love this impromptu performance they threw together where they mashed up the two and interpolated some other songs for a fresh, all acoustic rendition of their hits. It’s hard to ignore how talented these dudes are.
Seriously Interviews w/ AAtheory & Current TV
The California band Seriously has a couple more interviews out, where they sat down with AAtheory (again) and Current TV. The AAtheory segment was a lot goofier and fun in in nature where they had a mock game show and answered questions from the fans along with showing off some weird talents. The Current TV feature is a bit more traditional in format and content, talking about their background, their music, and how it all comes together. For any of you Serious fans there’s a plethora of material here so enjoy!
Seriously x Sheri Remix ‘Been So Long’
The Pop Rock band Seriously released their single ‘Been So Long‘ a few month’s back and it was definitely a pretty dope track. But honestly I think I may be feeling this impromptu remix just a little bit more. They bring in Sheri for some vocal back up, limit the instrumentation to just a guitar and they go at it. It’s a pretty sweet sound if you ask me. I wouldn’t be mad if they decided to drop a studio version of this!
Sherilyn x Seriously Cover ‘Just Friends’ by Musiq Soulchild
Sherilyn (aka Sheri Yi), a southern California artist who we don’t hear from too often, linked up with Nathan, the bassist from Seriously to do this awesome cover of the R&B classic ‘Just Friends’ by Musiq Soulchild. I actually really liked this rendition. It’s fun and sounds great. Nathan broke it down on bass while Sheri killed it on the vocals with a smooth but effortless tone. Maybe this will lead to some collaboration tracks in the studio too!
