Andrew Huang Promotes the “Ursula” Visuals from the ‘Schism’ Album

If you’re a fan of Andrew Huang‘s experimental body of work known as Schism then you’re gonna love this. If not, I can at least say it’s an entertaining visual though you may be perplexed by it’s trippy sonic fare. “Ursula” is the latest single to be given the official visual treatment, and though it’s nowhere near as zany as his Songs To Wear Pants To material, Huang never fails to keep things diverse on the video front.

Watch This Andrew Huang MV Like It’s “1997″

Since Andrew Huang operates on a seemingly never ending creative cycle, it’s no surprise that he has quite the backlog of material to dip into and promote. Here’s a new clip of his song “1997″, from his 2009 album, Summer. Even with a solitary camera angle, Huang doesn’t fail to keep things fresh with some solid editing choices. You can find the lyrics and chords to this pop/rock ballad after the break.

Andrew Huang Features on Gunnarolla’s “Get Some Food”

This isn’t the first time Andrew Huang has been involved with a song about food nor is it the first time he’s linked up with Gunnarolla, and I sincerely doubt it’ll be the last for either case. Check out this trivial but completely relate-able single about being hungry. The munchies have never sounded so beautiful before. Sure it’s silly but if you were so inclined to pick up this single – just head on over to iTunes.

Andrew Huang & Friends Perform “Understand”

Here’s another promo music visual by Andrew Huang for a song off his Love Songs released. He’s accompanied by Leah Hunger & Joanna McEwen for this quaint little video of “Understand”. It’s simple but fitting, par for the course. Some of you might scoff at this but I can oddly appreciate his artistic choices to keep production simple. And maybe it’s me but I almost didn’t recognize the dude with the short hair cut.

Andrew Huang Shares an Alternate Edit of the “Teenage Heaven (Purgatory)” MV

Towards the end of October, Andrew Huang (Songs to Wear Pants to) posted up a music video for his track “Teenage Heaven (Purgatory)”. Well, it turns out that wasn’t the original edit and in fact is a re-composition of footage, presented in a completely different manner from what you will see below. It was decided that the original edit didn’t quite convey the theme as well so as a result the one from a couple weeks ago was created and posted as the main version. This is the original that was scrapped.

Andrew Huang Presents the “Never” MV

Although Andrew Huang aka Songs to Wear Pants to has been known to create many different musical aliases depending on the genre, he’s reversed course and decided to consolidate under his government name. One of the first new releases (at least visually) under this re-organization is the song “Never” – from his previous album Autumn under the Your Heart moniker. The MV is a stylishly arresting piece of work making great use of effects and editing. This project has been in the making for quite some time so we’re glad to see it finally see the light of day.

VS Drops Visuals for “Rhyme”

Love him or hate him, you can’t say VS aka Songs to Wear Pants to isn’t trying to switch things up and keep his releases fresh. In his latest visual for “Rhyme” off his Hearing a Truth Serum project, VS takes it in an old-school direction hailing back to the day of VHS tapes and boom boxes. Pre-Youtube, pre-dvd, pre-ipod, pre-cd… you remember those days don’t you? Well, with the help of some cardboard props, he brings it all back.
