5 years ago, Summer Breeze posted up a song on the now nearly barren Myspace called “Connect”. The track was off his debut album Making My First Move but last night he brought the oldie back for a re-release for all his fans old and new. The song obviously holds it’s ground well after all these years and if you want to add this new performance version to your playlist you can do so for the price of a McDouble via the Bandcamp widget below.

[Live Performance] Manny Garcia x Summer Breeze – “Come with Me” on MYX TV
MYX TV continues to release some great performance clips from their TV programs! This one features Manny Garcia, accompanied by Summer Breeze on the six string, singing his original “Come with Me”. He’s got a classy Buble meets Mraz type of vibe to him, and although he may not be quite as big as some of his contemporaries he still certainly deserves your attention. Great clip!

S. Breezy has just posted up his segment from the Loaded concert that occurred last fall. For those who don’t have MYX TV and didn’t get to peep it for yourself (such as I), then this is a great opportunity to check out what went down. Summer shared a few thoughts on camera and then sang his popular single “What If” for the crowd. It’s a heartfelt performance and a good watch.
[Video] Lil Crazed x Michelle Martinez x Summer Breeze – “Fading Away” (Acoustic Remix)
Back in March, Lil Crazed dropped the MV for one of his older tracks “Fading Away“. We thought it was a decent though frankly un-remarkable track but after viewing this video I’m left in awe of how a simple flip can breathe new life into a song. He teams up with Michelle Martinez and Summer Breeze for an acoustic rendition and I gotta say it’s a marked improvement over the original. Perhaps the three of them should team up for an all acoustic EP.
Michelle Martinez Shares MYX-Rated Live Performance & Interview
MYX-Rated is a great show that spotlights some incredible artists on channel MYX. Here is a great little segment they did on Michelle Martinez where she sang “Euphoria”, “Crushin”, and “Nobody but U” live, accompanied by Summerbreeze on guitar of course. This isn’t your average webcam/flip/iphone/fan-cam footage… it’s crystal clear HDTV quality – giving you an opportunity to see how good Michelle can look and sound. Great clip! Michelle Martinez x Summerbreeze Shares a New Collab – “Nobody But U”
Summerbreeze has a tendency to bring out the best from the artists he collabs with and we’ve seen in person how well SB & Meesh can work as a musical team. This video clip, lighting & quality aside, is the perfect example of what we mean. Michelle Martinez sings her original song, “Nobody But U” (off her album Adrenaline), backed up by Summerbreeze on the six string. This was a quickie they threw together while backstage at a show in SF. While the studio album version is good, I’m digging this all acoustic version even more. Check it out below.
News Quickies – 4/18/2011 Youtube Covers Roundup
Not sure why, but it seems like everyone posted up a cover video in the past 24 hours. Rather than post about them all separately, we’ve grouped them together in one mega post. Above we have Legaci doing a fantastic acapella cover of All-4-One’s “So Much in Love”. Some clips are better than others but you can peep them all after the break!
Erin Paula x Summer Breeze Perform a Cover Medley
In any given day we see at least nearly a dozen cover videos on Youtube so it’s hard to stand out… but Summer Breeze has the tendency to really complement almost any artist he collabs with, and his latest joint venture with Erin Paula is another strong example. Here they are, singing a 5 song medley of Ne-yo’s “Because of You”, Usher’s “Hey Daddy” & “Something Special”, Christina Aguilera’s “Come On Over”, and Katy Perry’s “ET”. After numerous attempts they were able to knock out one solid single take. They look and sound great as a team, plus the night time city lights in the back were a nice visual touch.

I gotta be honest, I’m starting to get pretty tired of this song but this cover was too strong not to share on a-Tunes. The ubiquitous Summerbreeze makes another appearance with the 6 string, this time backing up Michelle Martinez. It’s great how each got to show off their own strengths on this video, with Meesh on the vocals and SB on a sick guitar solo. It’s a free DL, don’t miss out!
Legaci x Summer Breeze Returns With a New Bruno Mars Cover
Legaci x Summerbreeze have proven to make an incredible team in the past, but for those who’ve forgotten why, here’s blatant reminder. We haven’t heard form Legaci in what seems like ages but in this Youtube comeback video they cover the highly popular “Grenade” by Bruno Mars. I’d tell you they killed it but did any of you expect any less? Glad to see they haven’t lost a step after their extended tour with the Beibs.
