Producer Fort Lee decided to get an ensemble together to remix one of KPOP’s biggest hits from 2010, “박수쳐” by 2NE1. This version has Fort Lee behind the production of the remake, Shock-1, Mark Agustin, Schoolboy DUKE and Johnnyphlo as the MC’s and Megan Lee singing on the hook. There’s a pretty good variety of styles on the track, but it’s still clear that some of the rappers are more developed in their craft than others. Megan Lee sounds great until the layering comes in… and that’s where the mixing got a little rough. I’m still a bigger fan of the original but I can’t be mad about this remake; it’s a decent Asian-American version. DL the track for free here.
