While BoA’s Asian Version of her single ‘Eat You Up’ was released last week, her US version has just been released as well.
It was directed by the famed Diane Martel.
My opinion? Blah. I’m really not that into the song or either version of the video. The productions values of the US video are questionable. It’s also pretty clear what angle they were going for… more close up’s of BoA’s face, more costume variety, urban back up dancers… still… I’m not sure this is going to turn out to be the breakout success everyone was hoping for.

If Boa is wise and changes the lyrics from “eat you up” to “suck your cock” with the male chorus “you’ll suck my cock”, she will be famous from Eskimo country to Pygmy land.
Everybody on earth from 10 to 50 will speak her name. Some angrily of course, but more in astonishment.
It will be asia’s exasperated statement, “ok, this is what we had to do to make you notice, happy now?”
If she does not sing it this way, she will be stuck with Hikaru Utada, Coco Lee, Seiko Matsuda, Puffy as yet another failed asian invader.
Sounds like I’m joking, but think about it carefully. She WOULD get America’s attention, but as it stands now, I wager she won’t.
