Magnetic North is starting the new year with a bang by introducing a new single and an upcoming video.
The single begs to be blasted with a high energy feel and hype delivery. You can peep it @ their myspace.
Also the video will be shot January 18th in NYC, and they are looking for extras!

We hope your holidays went well! It’s 9 days into 2009 and we want to kick it off right. We’ve been working on a catalogue of new sounds and songs and finally (finally!) ya’ll get to hear one.
Check our myspace for “I Got My”, which is a collab we did with our good friend Taiyo Na. With the economy hit so hard, we wanted to give a shout out to the things we got instead of the things we don’t. That’s basically the heart of this piece and we hope ya’ll are feeling it. One more thing… TURN IT UP. We want your volume up so high the pictures on your wall get crooked. We want your momma to leave a comment on our blog telling us to shut up. We want it loud damnit.
ALSO, Jan 18th in NYC we’ll be shooting the music video to “I Got My” at the Bowery Poetry Club. Since half the song is about how we got our fam/friends/crew, we’d love to have ya’ll IN the video. Let’s face it, we’re not all that interesting looking… we need your pretty faces up in here. What do you say? Come mug for the cameras and chill with us? And if you’re camera shy, no worries, there’s a bar. =) OR you can just come to watch the performances. Taiyo and ourselves will be doing a set, as well as a special special guest performance by the incomparable Ishle Yi Park.
