Mike Isberto, Connie Lim & Others to Perform for GAGI Benefit Concert

I’m gonna rip this straight from ChannelAPA since they summarized the event so well. All I’ll say is, if you’re in the LA area on the 20th of this month, consider going out and supporting this event in to help end poverty.

According to UNICEF, approximately 3 billion people live on less than US $2/day and 1.4 billion people live on less than US $1.25/day, which is the definition of those living in extreme poverty. Though these statistics seem daunting, experts and global organizations are in agreement. There is hope. This generation has the ability to end extreme global poverty.

On March 20, 2010, Generation Against Global Injustice (GAGI) is hosting the “Ending Poverty : Music to Change the World” Concert at the Los Angeles Theatre Center in downtown LA. Come join them on this pivotal night to be the change that the world so desperately needs. For at the end, it’s not just about enjoying the music. It’s about providing hope and relief.

A portion of the proceeds will go to One Day’s Wages’ campaign to provide Fresh Start Kits for women in Congo. These kits will provide the training, skills, and equipment needed to begin sustaining their own lives.
