Sam Ock Releases ‘Hope of Glory’

In what Sam Ock describes as possible the best song he’s ever written,  he shares a new original entitled ‘Hope of Glory’. It’s a simple acoustic guitar worship ballad reminiscent of some of Shawn Mcdonald’s work. It is indeed beautifully written and composed, and certainly heartfelt. There seems to be a very strong personal connection to the song. If you like what you hear then grab it because it’s available as a free DL.

Lyrics after the break.

Oh, the beauty of our king
And all his created things
No one else compares
To the one called Jesus

Sin had conquered man
Then Jesus came to stand
And sacrificed his perfect life
So we could be with him

**Dont stop pouring your love out on us, oh God
We need your mercies anew everyday
And be in us the hope of glory
As we worship you

Lashed and beaten was the Son
We were cleansed by that very blood
No one else compares
To the vict’ry called Jesus

*We want to be like you in your pain, in your glory
We want to be like you in your love
