JFK, one half of the Seattle underground duo Grayskul, has dropped the official MV for his lead single to his debut solo album Building Wings On the Way Down. The track is called ‘High School Sweet Heart’ and has a POV similar to Kanye’s video for “All Falls Down”. A lot of it is from the first person perspective as JFK chronicles the up and down of a relationship. It’s a dope video and track, though I guess that’s what you can expect from a Rhymesayers artist. Expect the album to drop June 1st.
JFK (Grayskul, Rhymesayers. Oldominion) is proud to present the first single and video “High School Sweet Heart” from his debut album “Building Wings On the Way Down”. The track was produced by none other than Seattle’s finest Jake One (Freeway, Rhymesayers, 50 Cent) and tells the story of JFKs high school crush, who, it turns out, never really was his. A story many of us can relate to, over a Jake One banger.
The video was filmed by Seattle video team extraordinaire Fueled Creative (www.fueledcreative.com) and is a taste of what we can expect visually from the Building Wings on the Way Down album, due June 1 on Taxidermy Records out of Portland, OR. Northwest hiphop at its finest!
