Attend the Asian American Music Festival 2010 in LA

The Asian American Music Festival is going down this weekend (15th – 17th) at the Japanese American National Museum in LA and is broken up into 5 distinct sections, each focusing on a different aspect of music. You can see performances by Kero One, Dana Leong, Shing02, Gary Fukushima, Jon Jang, the Pan-Asian Akestra w/ Taiko Project, Abe Lagrimas Jr, Noel Okimoto, Jake Shimabukuro, Emi Meyer, the Shanghai Restoration Project, Charmaine Clamor, Sachal Vasandani, and more. This event features a wide range of artists including some who are more prevalent in pop culture than others, but all are huge, influential contributors to the arts as Asian Americans.
