There seem to be a lot of events with solo Youtube stars of the Hip-Hip and R&B variety so its easy to overlook all the bands and indie rock musicians out there. But if you’re in NY on February 26th then you can catch a number of such artists at a benefit concert held by The Jubilee Project – a group that creates videos to highlight various great causes.
The event will feature Rooftop Pursuit, who ill be debuting their music video for “Why I Sing” at the event. San Diego’s afterschoolspecial also joins the billing along with NY’s Sunspots and Philly’s Jason Min. You can find out more information and purchase tickets on their eventbrite page. All you music lover’s that miss instrumentation and live musicality, don’t miss this event!
For more information about Jubilee Project, check out their website & Youtube channel. After the break you can find their latest project – a video supporting Becky’s Fund & their work with raising awareness around domestic & dating violence.
A message to the women who make our lives complete: you are beautiful. This Valentine’s Day, send this video to the one you love.
Every time this video is watched in February, Jubilee Project sponsors will each donate a penny to Becky’s Fund, a non-profit organization that creates awareness around domestic violence. learn more at http://www.beckysfund.org
You can help Becky’s Fund simply by watching the video and sending it to your loved one and your friends! Or you can become a sponsor and donate a penny per view (remember you can cap your donation) by emailing project.jubilee@gmail.com.
