“The Storm That Left Us Behind” is another slow ballad by Sam Hart, featuring his trademark video set up complete with pet cat in the background. I’d honestly wouldn’t complain if he chose to switch things up more often, perhaps singing a more upbeat tune once in a while but I gotta give him credit for sticking to what his own style. In his own words the song is “about how sometimes we only remember the happy moments”.
