As many of you know, Malaysian singer Zee Avi (who found her way to stardom via Youtube), is getting ready to release her sophomore album ghostbird next month on August 23rd. She has recently released a single from the album and it’s called “The Book of Morris Johnson”. The mid-tempo, almost dream-like song has her personality and style written all over it. The song is available for streaming on Viinyl.com, and for purchase on iTunes & AmazonMP3.
The singer also has a new interview out with the Huffington Post that you can check out here. Of particular note is that she allowed them to debut a live performance video of the aforementioned single that is part of the “In the Open” series on Vimeo. Take a look after the break!
