Passion Officially Announces Debut Album & New EP; Invites You to Help

San Francisco’s Passion, one of the early staples to rise in fame via the internet (before Youtube!), has surprisingly never released a full-length album. Sure, he’s had demos and EPs and song leaks here and there but now’s the time for him to finally reach the milestone of releasing his debut LP after 9 years into his music career. Overdue to say the least. His ambition doesn’t end there though, as also planning to drop an EP the same day! The LP will be titled For More Than a Feeling, and the EP, Pixelated.

Passion will be working closely with musician/producer Jesse Barrera for these projects but of course is looking to raise some fundage to help alleviate the costs. Check out the video below to see how you can contribute to these records and help Passion reach an important step in his career.

Upon researching on what it takes to finish a professional full-length album, I have taken the leap of faith and have decided to put in the work and time to finally put out my first album for everyone.

It has been a long awaited dream of mine to gather up enough songs, enough life-experiences, enough love and even enough heartbreak, to put together an album that I could really be proud to present to you all.  These past 9 years have been living proof that the only constant thing in life is change. I have experienced many joys in life that I never ever thought I would experience, but I also have been beaten down by trials that I didn’t expect to come. All in all, I am thankful for all of these moments because they are what made me who I am today.

My full length album will be entitled, For More Than A Feeling and my new EP will be called PIXELATED.  There is a little something for everyone on these albums! So I plan on making this project come to life by raising $10,000 dollars right here on Kickstarter.com!

This is an exciting project because supporters & fans can show their support by being apart of the project itself.  I am not just asking you to help me financially (although I do need a lot of help on that area),  I am asking you to be apart of my journey in finishing this by DECEMBER! I want to release this before 2012 hits so these next few months are going to be busy and crucial for me.  PLUS, you get tons of awesome rewards for contributing! (See the right side for details!)

The $10,000 will go towards distribution, studio-time, updated recording software, producer costs (Jesse Barrera will be my co-producer), mixing and mastering, paying for the bassist, drummer, and other musicians that will be blessing this album with their talents), and a ton of other things that will need to be funded to make this possible. I don’t know if $10,000 is attainable in 40 days because I don’t know how many people are willing to support this cause, but I have high hopes and faith that this album will come to life! I have so many stories and music for you all and I hope that by contributing to this project, music with a message will be shared to the world.
