The singer from Hip-Hop group AMP, Sam Ock, just ended the solo silence with the following track called “Persevere”. We all knew that Sam is as versatile as they come, but I’m pretty sure you haven’t heard him like this. Somebody get the guy some throat lozanges! I wrote this song as motivation to continue to persevere, knowing that Jesus has already won over sin and death, both mine and the world’s. God proclaims you righteous when you accept what Jesus has done for you!
I realize that the ending breakdown of this song is verrrrry similar to another band…which I basically copied for the style of this entire song. Oh well! I probably won’t scream for a while after this song hahaha. The reason I put the screaming in this song is because I wanted to relay the intensity of my frustration with the battle against self-condemnation. It was also to display my desperation for God as well. :]
