You have to give it to Andrew Huang. Once he commits to a concept, he gives it 110%. His Love & Desolation album was an 80’s inspired Pop album, and his videos for the project carry on the same stylistic vibe. The latest single (the 7th off the project!), “Desolation”, has been given an MV and it’s decidedly low-tech. A testament that you don’t necessarily need to use fancy cameras, lenses, and effects to have an interesting video.
7th track from my 80s-inspired album, fastest rap I’ve ever done (168bpm) and the video is entirely shot using my Mac’s iSight webcam with the “glow” effect. No color correction or filtering of any kind, just a lot of chopping in Final Cut. Hope you enjoy it; thanks for all your comments and thumbs ups and shares!
