San Francisco-raised rapper/producer Alexander Spit is an up-and-coming West Coast artist who doesn’t conform to the standards of pop music but is still working his way to the mainstream. His resumé includes Bago’s impressive Sunday’s Best mixtape and his own EP, A Breathtaking Trip.
His best work is the instrumental album, Mansions. Spit samples speeches from guys like Bill Cosby and Joe Rogan and mixes them with soul samples, somehow crafting awesome, complete songs out of them.
