Marie Digby Shares an Instrumental Piece – “Snowfall in Kumamoto”

Marie Digby decided to take to the good ol’ black and whites to share her musical creation of the day (“Snowfall in Kumamoto”. You can read her own statement as to why this piece is instrumental only, but I can appreciate a good piano song any day. There’s almost a touch of Joe Hisaishi in her art; a worthy inspiration for anyone.

I’ve been having some problems with my ear lately and I can’t really sing so I decided to write an instrumental piece inspired by snowfall in the hometown of my mother.. Kumamoto. I’ve spent many winters there in my grandma’s house, looking out into the yard and seeing little snowflakes take over everything in sight. Hope you enjoy my musical thought for today!
