For those who are patiently-a-waitin’ Andrew Huang‘s next project, Lip Bomb, I encourage you to stay patient – it should drop soon. But at least Huang continues to drop tidbits of music along the way to keep you satiated just enough that you continue look forward to the next release. Here’s a quick video Andrew did for “Black Lurch”, and yes, he remains as eccentric and off-center as ever.
black lurch, hack set, shellacked church
still clipping the breeze back to lack wet knots where the dragnets perch
and these wax arms and tithes convert research to psalms and bribes
i stack words instead of paper
complex method of mirth, but no vapor
close shaver, cop the tangerine-flavored can of cream
safer with a sampler and a tambourine
no brainer, solo creator
a man of these ways still wants you to show favor
bless now, i’m planning to grow later
mess ’round midnight now with no savior
yeah, my nebula found in cold secular sound
to hold better a downed veteran
heaven to ground
i revel in alpha omega
look out, the whole regular council’s so devilish now
i make them all pay a premium
pushing medium material to tedium
feeling greedy when there’s cheques involved
but i coast, it’s too easy to impress you all
i make the most, but i don’t make the most of it
the sound’s what i love, but the love’s what i covet
i’m building apexes on the summit – flex
accelerating, but it doesn’t cut it – vex
