Lil Crazed recently had a guest feature on a large collaborative Hip-Hop track by Poetic Killah called “Rap Ain’t Real.” The high energy song also features Young Buck (of ex-G-Unit fame), Kali, and D-illin. Crazed’s contributions were limited to the hook, but the silver lining to the role is that he has more song time than anyone else. This may not be the highest profile collab in the world, but it’s not a bad look for the Mid-Western MC either.
Kick It with D-Pryde on “Kick It”
D-Pryde gets his acoustic flow on with a performance clip of “Kick It”. It’s a guitar backed song with no additional instrumentation or percussion. Don’t expect this song to be on his upcoming Flagship album, but it’s an enjoyable stand-alone track for his fans, but with a flair for the dramatics towards the end.
This song isn’t on Flagship. It’s just something I wrote up and felt like kicking acoustic for ya’ll before Flagship officially releases. I hope you’ll like it! A lot of ya’ll love stories, and this is a story that I really want to tell to people my age especially. Just listen to the lyrics and you’ll hear.
AM Kidd Reveals a Lyric Video for “Unspoken Feelings” ft JeffLum
“Unspoken Feelings” is a new joint from AM Kidd also featuring JeffLum. Rather than going his conventional route of debuting songs with an in-studio performance clip, he decided to put together a lyric video for you to follow along with. The song has a little bit more of an edge in comparison with his other material. There’s a touch of animosity, which is a welcome switch up.

Jesse Barrera Presents a Demo of “Gravity Won’t Save Me”
Although Jesse Barrera‘s work with other artists is always exceptional, it’s great to hear him work on his own material from time to time. JB returns with the funky Pop/Rock tune, “Gravity Won’t Save Me”. We haven’t heard Jesse on this type of record in a while – sounding like something you’d hear on a Maroon 5 record. You can purchase this demo from Bandcamp.
Started writing for the new record recently. It’s been a minute since I’ve done a song but I wanted to post this so you guys could have some new JB to jam on for awhile!!! The new record is going to be a fun, upbeat one and I’m starting to love the direction it’s going in. Definitely re-visiting my roots on this new stuff. Hope you like this first demo / song
J. Reyez x Jimmyboi x Jargon x Tommy C Drop the MV for “Bad One”
The MV for “Bad One” has been released. As the preview indicated, the song features an ensemble crew of artist including J. Reyez, Tommy C, Jimmy Boi, and Jargon (in order of appearance.) You should be able to find this track on Jargon’s upcoming mixtape due later this year, but for now you can DL the song for free, here. Fans of radio friendly glamour-centric Hip-Hop shouldn’t have many complaints about this one.
Jin Presents a “Brand New Me” Single
Jin has been talking about a 2012 English album for some time now, but actual material releases have been sparse. “Brand New Me” thankfully changes that. The new single can be heard in the Youtube clip below and will be available for purchase starting tomorrow. It’s great to hear Jin on a new original solo joint. The song is definitely a new direction and statement for the 106&Park Freestyle Friday hall of famer.
Kero One Announces Upcoming Album – ‘Color Theory’

Mr. Kero Uno is winding down the preparations for his next project, Color Theory, and has given it a tentative release date of “early July”. Kero made the announcement on twitter along with posting up the album cover, which you can see above. This will be the first major project since the web designer-turned-musician released Kinetic World back in 2010. We’re certainly looking forward to it’s release come July!
Derez Drops the MV for “Bout That”
Derez Brown is following up his lead song off the Derezolution project (“Turn Around, released just a few days ago”), with this street single – “Bout That”. The MV has some tough guy role play in there as Derez goes for a more rugged approach. The album release is still a bit of a ways off, with it scheduled for November 23rd.
Nessa Rica Reveals “My Angel”
Not too many lullabies have crossed the pages of this humble site, so it’s a bit of a distinctive honor to share with you “My Angel” by Nessa Rica. The song was written for two recent newborns, as Nessa sings encouragements and blessings over them in what would likely be a peaceful slumber. Undeniably short and sweet.
