SM Entertainment, the brains behind mega stars such as H.O.T, S.E.S, Shinhwa, BoA, DBSK, CSJH The Grace, Girls Generation, and many more, are holding auditions in North America during the next month.

AllKpop was recently contacted by an SM Entertainment representative to let you good people know about their upcoming Global Auditions. The audition will take place in 8 cities – September 19th – Hawaii. September 21st – Los Angeles, CA. September 26th – Washington D.C. and Orange County, CA. September 28th – New York, NY and San Francisco, CA (confirmed to be at the SF Korea Times Office). October 18th in Toronto, Canada. And October 25th in Vancouver, Canada.

Times are TBA (to be announced) and should be soon posted on the official SM Town Website.

There’s no restrictions on age, gender, or nationality but keep in mind that they’re mainly looking for someone asian (chinese/korean/japanese/etc). You don’t have to speak Korean (it would be a plus however). You can apply for the audition by emailing them at .2008SM@smtown.com

Categories you can Audition for:
1) Singer – Singing without a microphone or recorder. You can cover a song or use your own.
2) Dancer – Freestyle dance (whatever you choose). You must also bring your own CD.
3) Actor – Impromptu acting, you will be given a script.
4) Model – Various posing, Fashion.
5) Songwriter / Composition – Bring your own Demo CD or musical score.

In the Email you must include:
1) Name and Gender.
2) Nationality and Ethnicity.
3) Current Nationality and which City you want to audition at.
4) Which Category you want to Audition for.
5) Date of Birth
6) School / Education Background (year)
