SRadioClub has a great audio interview with Johnnyphlo. It’s a little bit on the longer side, but check it out if you got the time. It’s a real insightful conversation and it’s always interesting to hear more directly from the artist themselves.

Considering that it was such a rainy day, I was really excited to meet JohnnyPhlo. I have heard of him from being a member of the Soompi Forums from other people. They said that he was so good that he made it to the finals for the JYP Auditions. That really WOW’ed me and added to my excitement in meeting him.
I met one of his managers at a Korean Café called Elé since he was in the city at that moment and we immediately got seated and started talking about Johnny’s works as well preparing for the interview. Johnny ended up being a little bit late, which I didn’t mind at all, after all it is Johnny Phlo and plus, the weather in New York was such a conflict.
Johnny finally showed up and we clicked at that moment. He is such an amazing person with a humble personality along with a person who has no shame in what he says. That is the one thing I like about people, that they are straightforward about how they feel and they don’t hold back on it, HOWEVER they think of what they say BEFORE they say it. That’s JohnnyPhlo for you. I hope whoever is reading this understands what I’m trying to say.
Our interview went well, we laughed a lot and had a lot of fun… at least I did! And on top of that this interview was made on the day before his birthday so I’m sure he was excited that he was turning the big 22!
