It looks like there are two big benefit events this weekend featuring a ton of Asian-American artists; one on the East Coast & one on the West. Much respect to everyone involved for putting their talents and gifts to a greater cause.
- Over on the East we have Praise Revolution: A fundraiser event for New Vision; an organization in Philly whose mission it has been to keep the youth of Philadelphia out of trouble. Dave Bak, Jason Min, James Ha, Manifest, Lyricks, Decipher and more will all be performing. Check the two trailers here and here.
- And on the West we got Music Speaks, a benefit concert for Autism Speaks on both Friday & Saturday Night. Autism Speaks is a charity dedicated to funding global biomedical research into the causes, prevention, treatments, and cure for autism. Quest Crew, Gabe Bondoc, AJ Rafael Band, Passion, Cathy Nguyen, JR Aquino, Jennifer Chung, Jane Lui, Melissa Polinar, Mike Isberto, and more are all slated to perform for the cause.
