Bay area artist Chariz has a new MV out for his songs “A Couple Racks” and “The Block in Me”. Personally I’m a bit underwhelmed with this release. The first song “A Couple Racks” is full of boastful money talk which I tend to find boring unless it’s flipped in a creative or at the very least catchy way… neither of which is achieved here. Though he did make a great beat choice, the drum sounds were nice. And then on “The Block in Me” its more of your typical tough talk, and I really wasn’t liking the beat but he was on point with the flow on the verses. On the other hand the video is flawlessly crisp for both segments, at least providing a sharp visual.
