Mondega is in the process of releasing a new album on October 1st called For the People. One of the tracks featured is called “Listen to My Song” which he made the following music video for. I’m not really feeling the beat selection at all, and the video itself is of pretty average quality but what does stand out are Mon’s rap verses. He spits some raw lyrics about growing up and trying to make it in this country as an immigrant and musician. Despite the fact I don’t think the presentation is great, I can appreciate the song for being real.
