Jason Chen’s come a long way in the past year or so, and the day has come where he’s dropped his first official solo single & MV. The track is called “Just For a Moment” featuring Holly AnnAeRee as the leading lady. Song wise I have to admit, this is the first time I could really visualize Jason Chen as more than a youtube cover artist with a boy-band voice. It’s a pretty strong R&B single and I think he did great with his official debut. The video is textbook Jason. Sharp visuals, above average editing, but otherwise a little dull. It could have used some more locations and fleshing out of the story but at least we can all agree the video is pretty to look at (leading lady included). Support the guy and pick up the song on iTunes.

Jason Chen is a good musician and i have seen him both personally and on stage,he is very much active in doing all sorts of music styles and collabs too,i give him credit for doing this , i seen him last nov ,he was good up on stage and put on a good show , but this past weekend up in canada ,he only performed 4 tracks up on stage,come on Jason ,you can do better then that !!!,many people bought tickets and it was a sellout,you need to step it up more before stepping up on stage., but you are still a great musician and glad to see you make it out there
