GOWE Releases New Single – “Say Hello”

Seattle’s GOWE has dropped a new official single called “Say Hello”. I tend to really like this guy’s choice in beats and that hasn’t changed though I’m not completely convinced he used it to its fully potential. The verses were fine but in my opinion the track was screaming for a melodic hook. I think a great singer on the chorus would have made all the difference between a decent track and a great one. You can purchase the single for a buck via the widget below.

Gowe – “Say Hello” Lyrics

Verse 1

He saw her enter by the hallway and the time was frozen
The time was afternoonish something maybe close to seven
It took him seconds just to step into the shoes he came in
Aiming just to tell her that he thought that he just witnessed heaven
But then he thought again and maybe it was kind of corny
Plus these pick up lines will never work they work against me
And so he took a breath and stepped outside his comfort zone
pushed himself ahead just in hopes that he could say Hello

Chorus –

When you came into my life I had to say Hello Hello Hello Hello
And I never thought that I would have to tell you goodbye, goodbye

Maybe sometime in the future we can say Hello Hello Hello Hello
maybe through the thick and thin this isn’t really goodbye, goodbye

Verse 2 –
She thought that he was kinda funny while hes getting nervous
And Not exactly what she had in mind as picture perfect
But vision blurred its kind of hard to see the worth
in earthly standards reprimanded any chances to move forward with
Any type of guy because the past had really scarred her
Never thought that any man could replicate her father
In heaven or on earth and so it hurts to even bother
Chances to be given made the leap of faith much harder
Took a step, took a breath and even said Hello to him
Day to day, he would say, things that made him different
She would think and he would pray, couldn’t wait just to tell her hey
Hows your day? Are you free? Would you like to take a walk with me?
Yes, no, check a box right behind this note
Tell me yes and we’re good to go, hurry it up you move kinda slow
No just kidding, you’re cute when you’re mad
Plus I really like to make you laugh
Yes? Yes. I’m really happy that I said hello.

Chorus –

When you came into my life I had to say Hello Hello Hello Hello
And I never thought that I would have to tell you goodbye, goodbye

Maybe sometime in the future we can say Hello hello hello hello
maybe through the thick and thin this isn’t really goodbye, goodbye

Verse 3 –
They would walk around the park until the sun was gone
That’s when he promised that one day that he would write a song
And dedicate it but she probably didn’t pay attention
She probably let it go and made an effort to forget it
A couple weekends down the road is when they graduate
With plans to separate cause she was going out of state
Following her dreams to be a singer writing music
While he went onto a college cause he loved creating graphics
Hours turned to days and then the days turned into months now
Not a word from either party partly cause of time now
And both of them has thought about the other through a song
Would they ever sing along see that’s the question they would ask
A dangerous position if you ponder on the future
it’s out of your control better focus on the present tense
And even if its relevant, you have to try to let it go
At least you have no regrets the day you said hello

Chorus –

When you came into my life I had to say Hello Hello Hello Hello
And I never thought that I would have to tell you goodbye, goodbye

Maybe sometime in the future we can say Hello hello hello hello
maybe through the thick and thin this isn’t really goodbye, goodbye
