It’s hard not to enjoy Nessa Rica and her bluesy-pop acoustic originals but it’s starting to get to the point where I’d like to see less webcam videos and hear more fully tracked studio versions. That being said, her latest “Weather On” is still a great, calming listen. Catch it in the video below. Also, she’s made it as a finalist for Kollaboration Acoustic 5, so a huge congrats to her!
Verse 1:
I lie awake
In my thoughts
A drift, a dream
Pondering your ways
Visualize indeliblyChorus:
There’s winter in your heart
But summer in your smile
Though I tend to fall
But spring to the sound of your voice
I’ll weather on through, as long as I am with you…Verse 2:
I’ve memorize your face
Your eyes caught, mine
Our gaze collides
I’ve read into the signs
But i ignore the clues
The benefit, I give youChorus:
There’s winter in your heart
But summer in your smile
Though I tend to fall
But spring to the sound of your voice
I’ll weather on through, as long as I am with you…Bridge:
Good or bad
Happy or sad
Rain or shine
I’m yours, you’re mine
The wind it chimes, directs us to
A state we are no stranger toClouds form a storm they come
Thunder louder than a hum
There’s a fire burning sun
Naive of me to run from
I’ll weather on through, as long as I am with you…Chorus:
There’s winter in your heart
But summer in your smile
Though I tend to fall
But spring to the sound of your voiceending:
I’ll weather on through, pull down my shades
I’ll weather on through and wear rain boots if I have to
I’ll weather on through, as long as I am with you…
