Top 40 listeners can attest to the ubiquitous presence of Katy Perry’s “E.T.” all over the radio. The song is one of those tracks that evoke a mixed reaction where I like the vocality and production but hated the lyrics and verses. Michelle Martinez & Verseatile‘s remix partially addressed some of those factors though I think their version is a much better listen than a watch. The video gets boring after a while but Meesh kills the vocals. Verseatile 2nd verse was stronger than the 1st but either way they are better than Kanye’s ridiculous raps on the original.
