It’s not everyday that we get to report on a rock band, but Oakland’s Johnny Hi-Fi has a new MV out for their song “Politician” off their Love Sold Me Out EP from last year. The visuals have decent direction but I can’t say I’m a huge fan of the visual styling/production values. Regardless, I recognize it’s tough for an indie band – and the song itself is a solid listen. But the hardest part about being a rock band seems to be staying together and staying active – something that the group has been able to do in some form for quite some time.
