
It was a rough weekend for Michael Nguyen-Stevenson, better known to most as the Young Money artist Tyga. The recording artist was arrested in Las Vegas during a routine traffic stop that yielded outstanding warrants stemming from prior traffic violations but was released the next day. In perspective, this is a relatively minor incident, but serves as a reminder that you gotta tie up loose ends or face the risk of unnecessary setbacks.
“Rack City” rapper Tyga was arrested in Las Vegas over the weekend, according to TMZ.
The MC, born Michael Stevenson, was reportedly booked on an outstanding warrant after being flagged for a traffic violation. He had an alleged four previous incidents, including driving without a license, enough for a warrant to be issued.
He was reportedly released from the Clark County Detention Center the following day.
The musician’s second album, “Careless World: Rise of the Last King,” is due for release on Jan. 24 on Young Money, Cash Money and Universal Republic, and will feature appearances from Drake and Lil Wayne, among others.
